This video will show you how to uncombine a shape.
If the items that you import behave as one object, you can use the "shape exploder" 3rd party app in Easel to break it apart into multiple lines, like this:
Select the object, then go to the app library, search for shape expl..:
Choose the Shape Exploder to break it into multiple lines like this:
Then you will want to select each of the lines and change them so that your design looks the way you want.
