Easel's Machine Profiles allows your machine's work area to be saved across all of your projects. Even if you do not intend to connect your machine to Easel, and are just using it to create gcode, you will still have to complete a machine profile in order for the work area to be saved.
To do this, open up an Easel project and click on the Machine tab. In the dropdown, select "Set up new machine."
If you haven't already installed the Easel driver, you will be asked to do so. Currently, there isn't a way to create a machine profile without the Easel driver.
Regardless of your machine type, select the Other option.
Select your machine's model if it is in the dropdown. You will then have the ability to enter the work area. Please ensure that it is entered in millimeters:
Click on confirm settings. You will be greeted with this screen. Click on the Cancel button. Even though you are canceling the setup, Easel will still create a profile for your machine.
Hit the back button on your browser and you will be taken back to Easel. You can check to see if your settings were saved by navigating to Machine > Edit your machine.
This work area should now be saved across all of your Easel projects.
