Use the machining jog controller to quickly and easily move your machine from within Easel!
This makes it easy to get your machine ready for carving a project without moving your machine manually.
Moving your X-Carve manually (e.g. pushing the gantry with your hands) sends electricity back into your X-Controller, which can cause serious damage. We advise always using the Easel machine controls to move your machine.
The controls are always accessible but you can only jog your machine from Easel if your machine is plugged in and turned on.
First, make sure the machine is plugged into the computer and powered on. Once plugged in, the carve and jog control buttons will change to teal, indicating that they are ready to be used.
Open the drop-down panel. Move the machine's X, Y, and Z axes using the corresponding arrows.
You can use the toggle to switch between inches and millimeters for your preferred measurement method. Click the different measurement intervals to control the machine's movement more precisely. Each time you click an arrow on the controls, it will move the distance set by the intervals.
Toggle the keyboard controls on it you want to use your keyboard to control the machine movement.
