Easel Cabinetmaker | Manufacture:
Within this specific tab of Easel Cabinetmaker, you gain access to a crucial function: generating cut lists for your designs. Upon opening this tab, you'll be prompted to create a cut list by clicking on the blue "New Cut List" button in the upper right-hand corner.
Clicking on the blue button opens a window with the settings for your cut list. Here, you can set the manufacturing styles, either CNC, Table Saw, or Face Frames. You can also choose to exclude certain parts of the cabinets or even whole cabinets from being nested, which will exclude them from the generated cut list. Finally, you can choose the size of the material on which you want the designs to be nested. You can click on Create to generate the cut list.
Once a CNC cut list is generated, Easel will divide the design into panels to be carved. You can then select the panel you want to cut and click on "Carve" in the lower right corner. This action will take you to the Easel carve setup menu. Above the "Carve" button, you can adjust the cut settings for the carve as well.
For a Table Saw cut list, Easel will display the cuts that need to be made on the board and the dimensions for those cuts.
For a Face Frame cut list, Easel cabinetmaker will generate a table showing the length and quantity of of each frame.
Toolbar:
If you hover over the cut list you are working on Easel will give you the option to Rename, Print, Delete, or Export the cut list. Exporting the cut list will nest the design into an Easel project and allow you to edit and carve the parts.
