As a cabinet maker, managing projects involves much more than just crafting the pieces. From client communication to material sourcing, there's a myriad of tasks to handle. Easel Cabinetmaker's Jobs platform is designed to streamline these processes and provide a centralized hub for managing all aspects of your designs. Below is a step-by-step guide to help you make the most of this feature:
Once you've logged into Easel Cabinetmaker, you'll land on the Jobs dashboard. Here, you can view, edit, and create all of your jobs seamlessly.
- Creating a New Job:
- To initiate a new job, click on the orange " "New Job" button at the top of the screen.

- Initially, you only need to provide a name and status for the Job. Additional details can be added later.
- Adding Details to the Job:

- After creating the Job, you can proceed to input additional information to enhance its description and management:

- Address: Specify the location associated with the job.
- Target Date: Set the deadline or target completion date for the job.
- Associated Designs: Link existing or start new designs to this job for better organization and reference

- Notes: Include any pertinent notes or instructions related to the job.
- Photos: Upload pictures to the job for quick reference while designing.
- Checklists: Create and manage checklists to ensure all necessary tasks are completed.
On every page of Cabinetmaker, you'll find an orange "Menu" button in the upper right-hand corner. Clicking on this button will give you access to the Jobs dashboard, your Easel Cabinetmaker account, support content, and the option to provide feedback, submit a feature request, or move to Easel Pro.
Creating a Design in Easel Cabinetmaker:
When the Easel Cabinetmaker Job is set up, you can start your first Design. To do this, open the job related to the design and click the plus sign with the words "Add Design" below it.
You will be taken to a blank room design where you can start adding cabinets.
